👨‍💼 Our Story: The 4 Guys

We started in 2009, when two very different paths crossed at just the right time.

Alex was a professional painter and a skilled drywall installer, known for his craftsmanship and attention to detail. Steven was working as an auditor at Deloitte and helping build one of the largest real estate practices in North Dallas. Even though we came from different worlds—one with boots on the ground, the other in the boardroom—we shared a common vision: build something real, something honest, and something built to last.

We began working together, tackling small jobs, gaining hands-on experience, and building a name for ourselves. As we took on more challenging projects, we also invested in ourselves—earning master-level licenses and growing in both skill and scale. Over time, Alex was leading full home remodels and custom builds, and Steven had become a Master Plumber, overseeing major mechanical installations.

But we didn’t want to stop there. We knew that to offer the best, we needed to surround ourselves with the best. That’s when we found Ilias, an electrician from Colombia with a college degree in Electrical Engineering and one of the sharpest minds we’ve ever worked with. His work is clean, detailed, and precise—just the way we like it.

Then came Max, a multi-generation excavator with the kind of deep, practical knowledge you can’t teach. Max can run any machine and knows the dirt like the back of his hand. When Max is on the job, things get done right—every time.

After a few more years of working, learning, and tinkering in our shop at headquarters, we realized it was time to make it official. That’s when The 4 Guys – Air Conditioning & Heating, Plumbing, Electrical, and Excavation was born.

We brought together four masters of the trades to create something better than the industry standard—a team that delivers elite craftsmanship with honesty and heart.
